Sharni Vinson

Born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson grew up in Sydney's southern beach suburb of Cronulla. At the age of 16, she competed at a National Level in swimming, with four State records throughout high school. Sharni began singing, dancing, and acting as a child, making her the third generation of her family to perform. Her mother was an actor in the musical theatre, as her grandmother was the recipient of the Borovansky Ballet Company scholarship to England in 1945. At the age of twelve, Sharni took up a place as a dancer in the Brent Street School of Performing Arts in Sydney at which she learned on all aspects of dance for the next 10 years. Sharni who graduated from high school at the age of 17 was enlisted by Roadshow Music Australia to be a part of "Foxfire IV", an all-girl pop group. Their first single, "Roses", reached number 50 in Australia's ARIA chart. Sharni Sharni Sharni
